Dr. Niklas Panten's work experience includes being the CEO & Co-Founder at etalytics GmbH since July 2019. Before that, they worked at the Institut für Produktionsmanagement, Technologie und Werkzeugmaschinen as the Head of Research Group "Energy Technologies and Applications in Production (ETA)" from January 2018 to December 2019, and as a Research Associate from February 2014 to December 2017. Dr. Niklas also worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Chair of Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, Faculty of Engineering - University of Kiel from April 2012 to February 2013. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Intern at DELTA Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in October 2011. Dr. Niklas started their work experience as a Student Intern at Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH in March 2009.

Dr. Niklas Panten has an extensive education history. Dr. Niklas began their academic journey at Gymnasium Kaltenkirchen from 1998 to 2007, where they completed their Abitur. Following this, they attended Kiel University from 2008 to 2012, earning their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration.

Dr. Panten then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Kiel University from 2012 to 2014. During their master's program, they also had the opportunity to study Power Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for a year, in 2013.

Continuing their academic journey, Dr. Panten joined Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2014 to 2019. Here, they completed their Dr.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Technologies in Production.
