Ray Wang has completed various internships and roles in the finance and business development sectors. In 2021, they interned at Saxo Bank as a Private Wealth Management Intern. In 2022, they worked as an Investment Fall & Winter Analyst at TradArt Investment SP and as an Alumni Data Intern at UCLA Anderson School of Management. In 2023, they participated in the PIMCO Prep Program and worked at Involution.ai as a Business Development professional. Ray also completed an Investment Banking Summer Internship at Harbor Ridge Capital, focusing on Tech Investment Banking and specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Learning Management System (LMS). Currently, they are an Incoming Private Equity Fall Intern at Pinewell Capital, LLC.

Ray Wang is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and International Development Studies at UCLA, with an expected completion date in 2025. Prior to attending UCLA, from 2014 to 2021, Ray Wang completed high school at YK Pao School. In 2020, they also participated in a short-term program called Leangap, focusing on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies. Additionally, from 2015 to 2017, Ray Wang attended the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY), specializing in economics.

In terms of certifications, Ray Wang obtained two certifications from the University of Colorado Boulder. In August 2020, they completed the "Graphic Elements of Design: Color Theory and Image Formats" certification, and in July 2020, they obtained the "Design Principles and Software Overview" certification.
