Helen Cooper is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in risk management and actuarial services. Currently serving as the Chief Risk and Legal Officer at esure Group since August 2022, Helen plays a vital role in driving digital transformation and enhancing customer offerings. In addition to responsibilities at esure Group, Helen is a Board Trustee and Audit and Risk Committee Chair for Elmway Learning Trust since January 2016. Previously, Helen held significant roles, including Group Chief Actuary at Hiscox, where oversight included gross reserves exceeding $7bn and written premiums of $4bn. Helen's expertise also encompasses leadership positions at KPMG UK and RBS Insurance, alongside active contributions to the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship from the Institute of Actuaries and a First Class BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
