Johnny Graettinger is a co-founder of Estuary Development since October 2019 and has played a significant role as the creator and committer for the Gazette Project since February 2015, focusing on infrastructure for streaming platforms. Previous positions include Head of Publisher Engineering at LiveRamp from November 2016 to July 2019, and co-founder and CTO of Arbor from October 2014 to November 2016, where Arbor pioneered a marketplace for people-based data. Earlier experience at Google from June 2010 to September 2014 involved leading development for the SPDY and HTTP/2 standards, while work at Invite Media between August 2009 and June 2010 contributed to scaling display advertising products. Career began at BBN Technologies from February 2006 to August 2009 as a research scientist investigating statistical text understanding. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, completed in 2006 and 2005, respectively.
