Siim Õunap is currently serving as a Mission Control Developer at Estonian Student Satellite and is a PhD Candidate at Unicaf University, focusing on AI-driven decentralized financial technologies to improve economic stability and reduce wealth inequality. Previously, Siim held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Savii Digital, a digital marketing agency specializing in blockchain and financial technologies. Additionally, Siim has experience as a Student Mentor at the University of Tartu, where involvement in the DigiYouth program fostered digital product development among students. Other roles include COO and Chief Innovation Officer at GetGame and OpenLedger respectively, and Head of Data at ArrivalGuides. Early career experience includes marketing and event management roles at UCN, AIESEC, and communications within the Estonian Defence Forces.
