Aleix Font Pelaó has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Aleix started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Caixa Catalunya from 1989 to 1993. Aleix then worked as an Assistant at Ernst & Young from 1994 to 1996 before joining Mahou-San Miguel as an Accounting Manager from 1996 to 2000. Aleix then joined Danone Nutricia ELN Africa & Overseas, where they held various roles from 2000 to 2017. These roles included Director of Finance, where they established the financial, reporting, legal, and tax organization in Africa to support business growth. Aleix also led the integration of the acquired business into the Danone Group's financial processes and participated in the company's strategic planning. Additionally, they worked as a Business Planning Manager and Analysis at Danone, where they held various financial positions and played a key role in implementing SAP. Finally, they served as the CFO at Esteves Group from 2017 to the present. Throughout their career, Aleix has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and financial management skills, leading multicultural teams and achieving significant accomplishments such as creating the first Danone infant nutrition entity in Africa and redefining business models to ensure viability during times of crisis.
Aleix Font Pelaó completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Business from Universitat de Barcelona, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Master's degree in finance from Esade.
