Leopoldo Villafuerte is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as CFO at Estafeta Mexicana since July 2022, Leopoldo previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at G500 from 2019 to July 2022, and as CFO at Pacific Star Foodservice from 2018 to 2019, where a successful tax strategy was implemented to reduce VAT receivable old balances. Prior to these roles, Leopoldo was the CFO for adidas in Mexico from 2012 to 2017, overseeing all finance teams and budget control, and held various senior finance and administration positions at Hugo Boss from 2001 to 2012, managing finance, HR, legal, and IT matters across Latin America. Earlier career experiences include audit roles at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, providing professional services to major consumer goods companies. Leopoldo holds a Master’s degree in Global Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from Universidad La Salle, A.C.
