Joseph Chase serves as the State Coordinator for FIRSTinVT since December 2022, focusing on expanding and sustaining FIRST teams in Vermont while fostering a mentorship network. With a long-standing career in education, Joseph has been a High School Science Teacher at Essex High School and Bellows Free Academy since 2000 and 1992, respectively. Additionally, Joseph contributes as Adjunct Faculty at the Community College of Vermont since January 1995. Joseph's early career includes service as a Volunteer in the Peace Corps from January 1988 to March 1990. Joseph Chase holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Physics from the University of Vermont.
