Asmeret Ghebremicael, MPA, has extensive experience in public administration and real estate, currently serving as Confidential Assistant to the Chief of Staff at Essex County since September 2014. In this role, Asmeret adheres to a strict code of conduct while managing daily interactions with various stakeholders. Previous positions include managing operations at the Essex County COVID Call Center and leading the Essex County 2020 Census Project. Earlier career roles at Cass Inc. Realtors included serving as a Licensed NJ Real Estate Agent and Personal/Administrative Assistant. Additional experience includes being an Office Coordinator at Real Energy Solutions and an intern at The Hip Event. Asmeret holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University - Newark and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from Rider University.
