Erin Fontaine has a diverse work experience. Erin started their career as a Receptionist at A Day at the Beach Salon in 2005 and worked there until 2010. Then, they joined Hatheway Automotive as an Office Manager from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Erin joined the Essex County Sheriff's Dept. as an Executive Assistant and later became the Assistant Director of Human Resources in 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Essex County Regional Emergency Communications Center for a brief period in 2015.

Erin Fontaine completed their high school education at Newburyport High School from 2003 to 2007. Erin then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 2007 to 2011.
