Wesley Lam is an experienced professional in additive manufacturing and engineering with a strong background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Application Manager for APAC at Essentium, Inc. since May 2021, Wesley oversees application management. Previous experience includes roles at Applied Materials as a Senior Additive Manufacturing Process and Application Engineer, where responsibilities involved leading global development in additive manufacturing and engaging with customers to optimize workflows. Earlier positions include being a Process Engineer focused on semiconductor applications, an Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Ultra Clean Technology, and a researcher at Nanyang Technological University, where notable achievements included optimizing heat treatment processes for high-speed steel. Wesley has a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems and Engineering, specializing in additive manufacturing, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.
