Mike Watters serves as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Essentia Health since August 2019. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of VP and Regional General Counsel for Iowa and Nebraska Divisions at Catholic Health Initiatives from 2013 to August 2019 and worked as Corporate Counsel at the same organization from March 2000 to 2012. Mike's legal career began at Baker & Daniels, where Mike practiced as an attorney from 1993 to 2000. Mike Watters earned a degree from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts between 1982 and 1986.
