Aaron Tanninen, P.Eng, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in process engineering and manufacturing technology. Currently serving as a Manufacturing Technology Associate at Algoma since August 2018, Aaron specializes in ironmaking process control and optimization. Prior to this role, Aaron was a Senior Process Engineer at Essar from 2010 to July 2018, focusing on enhancing process capability and quality through comprehensive analysis. Aaron also contributed to Virox Technologies Inc. from 2008 to 2010 in the Process & Engineering Services Department, where significant achievements included developing labor and capacity models and improving production efficiencies. Earlier in the career, experience included a co-op position at Hercules Canada and a student role at Hatch in automation and control systems engineering. Aaron holds a BASc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
