David Tait serves as the Strategic Account Director for Central Government at ESRI UK Limited since April 2009, where responsibilities include managing relationships with the Defra Network and government departments. Past roles include serving as Founding Director and Trustee at Bonitas Multi Academy Trust from September 2017 to August 2020, and Governor at Ranelagh CoE Academy from February 2009 to February 2018, focusing on strategic oversight and financial management. David Tait has extensive experience in public sector sales, having held positions at Rolta, Pitney Bowes MapInfo, and Software AG, with a strong emphasis on GIS-related software and services. Earlier in career, David Tait worked as a Geophysicist, Party Chief, and Consultant at SEISMOGRAPH SERVICE LIMITED, specializing in oil and gas exploration. David Tait earned a BSCHonours degree in Physics from the University of St Andrews between 1977 and 1981.
