Utkarsh Shah is a highly experienced professional in the field of GIS and remote sensing, currently serving as Manager Pre-Sales at Esri India since May 2022. Previously, Utkarsh held the position of Assistant Manager at Torrent Power, where responsibilities included implementing integrated enterprise GIS solutions and managing geodatabases to support business processes. Prior to that, as Executive Engineer GIS, Utkarsh specialized in geospatial database creation and GIS project implementation. Utkarsh's experience also includes serving as a GIS Specialist for Rajkot Municipal Corporation, focusing on urban planning and infrastructure mapping, and working as a Research Assistant at CEPT Research and Development Centre on projects for the Ministry of Environment and Forest. Utkarsh holds a Master of Science in Geomatics, GIS, and Remote Sensing from CEPT University, along with a postgraduate diploma in Disaster Management and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Proficiency in various GIS software tools is evident, complementing a robust career dedicated to geospatial analysis and urban planning.
