Ben started their career at Amgen in 2003, where they worked as a Senior Clinical Data Manager, responsible for developing study plans, ensuring project timelines, and conducting data reviews. Ben later became a Clinical Data Management Manager at Amgen, overseeing CDM activities and mentoring data managers. After their tenure at Amgen, Ben joined Allergan, first as a Manager and then as a Director of Clinical Data Management. In these roles, they strategized, coordinated, and directed CDM activities, managed global teams, and oversaw budget preparation. Ben also served as a Clinical Data Management Consultant at Novus Therapeutics, providing consulting services to support data management activities. Before joining their current company, Esperion, as the Senior Director and Head of Clinical Data Management, Ben worked at Advance Research Associates, Inc. as a Director and at Advanced Clinical as a Data Management Professional. Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of clinical data management, including project management, vendor management, database design, and quality standards adherence. Ben has also shown a strong ability to lead and mentor teams to achieve corporate goals and milestones.
Ben Hong obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from UCLA, specializing in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology. Furthermore, they have a certification in Medidata Rave Study Builder, which they obtained from Medidata Solutions in April 2020.
