Ray Borg

Head Of Information Technology at Esperanto Technologies

Ray Borg has over 40 years of experience in the field of information technology. Ray began their career at Hewlett-Packard in 1980, where they worked as an IT Manager for nine years. Ray then moved on to Trimble Navigation, where they served as an IT Manager for five years. After that, they joined Skyway Freight, a Union Pacific Corp Company, as the Director of IT for two years. From 1996 to 1998, they worked at Texas Instruments as an IT Manager.

In 1998, Borg joined Transmeta Corp as the Director of IT. During their tenure, they successfully implemented an SAP system, revitalized the IT infrastructure, and reengineered business processes to align with organizational goals.

In 2006, Borg joined Interwoven, which was later acquired by Autonomy and then by HP. As the Head of Global IT, they managed a team of more than 50 staff members. One of their key achievements during this time was implementing a custom-built Jira Helpdesk system.

After leaving Interwoven/Autonomy/HP in 2015, Borg joined iManage as the Head of Global IT. Ray'smain focus was to ensure a smooth transition from HP and establish a cloud presence for various operations.

Currently, Borg is the Head of Information Technology at Esperanto Technologies, Inc. As a C-Exec, they are responsible for planning, designing, developing, and implementing IT systems and software applications. Ray also leads efforts in network management, vendor negotiations, and support.

Throughout their career, Borg has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing IT operations and implementing innovative solutions.

Ray Borg attended the University of San Francisco from an unknown start and end year, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management with a focus on Information Technology. Additionally, from 1988 to 1989, they studied at USF, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems.
