Veda Harrison FRSA currently serves as Director of Creative Confident Communities at Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Veda was a Senior Associate at Do it Now Now HQ and an Associate Consultant at Creative Equals, both from April to September 2021. Veda's previous experience includes serving as Strategy Lead at the Money and Pensions Service, where responsibilities involved improving service delivery for vulnerable consumers and leading the Gender Challenge Group for the UK Strategy for Financial Wellbeing. Veda has held positions at NatWest Group, managing public and consumer affairs and sustainable banking, and as National Programme Manager for the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, focusing on diversity in the built environment. Veda's early career involved roles at Nesta, Southbank Centre, and Charlton Athletic Community Trust, complemented by a solid educational background including a BA in Communication Studies and Sociology, an MA in Arts and Cultural Policy Management, and a PGCE in Further Education.
