Brian Moorhead currently serves as the Grid Consultancy Director and Lead Grid Connections Manager at eSmart Networks, where expertise is applied to lead the Grid Connections Team in delivering renewable energy solutions across the UK. With a career spanning over a decade, Brian has held multiple roles at Northern Ireland Electricity Networks, including Connections Interface Manager and Major Projects & Contestable Works Delivery Coordinator, contributing significantly to renewable connection projects and emergency communications. Additionally, Brian is an active member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Northern Ireland Committee and has experience in academic settings as a Mathematics Tutor at Queen's University Belfast. Brian Moorhead holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
