Geoff Probst has extensive work experience in various roles within different companies.
Geoff worked at Pandera Systems as the Director of Delivery Assurance from November 2017. In this role, they managed the day-to-day operations and reporting of the Carolinas Region, including marketing events, recruiting, invoicing, staffing, project accounting, and profitability. Geoff also acted as the regional PMO Lead, coordinating internal resources and teams, managing multiple projects, and coaching junior project managers on client relationships and internal project methodology.
Before that, they worked at ESM Software Group, Inc. as a Consulting Director starting in July 2015. Geoff advised the Director, Deputy Director, and Senior Executive Service (SES) leaders of a combat support agency. At Bank of America, they served as Vice President from January 2004 to March 2005. In this role, they acted as an enterprise-wide consultant, focusing on business issues related to application development, information management, and technology architecture. Geoff also played a contributing role in the Enterprise Information Architecture Review Board and successfully lowered the total cost of the bank's technology infrastructure.
Before Bank of America, they worked at Duke Energy in various roles. From February 2000 to December 2003, they were the Manager of Enterprise Reporting, overseeing the firm's business intelligence platform and leading a cross-functional team responsible for product strategy and operations. Prior to that, from September 1996 to January 2000, they were a Senior Database Consultant, supporting critical DB2 applications and development teams. Geoff also created reporting models for business units, increasing efficiency and up-sell proposals.
Geoff Probst has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Purdue University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. In September 2016, they earned the Data Science Foundations - Level 1 certification from IBM. In March 2019, they achieved the SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake, and in August 2019, they obtained the Professional Data Engineer certification from Google.
