Immediately following his time at Berry College in Rome, GA, Andrew launched his second company Creative Woodcraft. This company focused on trim and millworks for several of Atlanta’s premier custom builders as well as complete custom pieces of furniture for private clients. Andrew says the most satisfying parts of this particular business venture was both the ability to work alongside his father and watch his 2D renderings come to life as a focal point in someone’s home. As the business developed, Andrew followed market direction and expanded services to include full residential remodeling.

In 2008 an opportunity to move into the commercial sector presented itself and Andrew accepted a position as a Superintendent for R&T General Construction, LLC. In response, he handed off the new construction facet of Creative Woodcraft to a long-time business partner and continued to develop the custom furniture piece of the business alongside his career in commercial construction. Construction management proved to be a good fit and Andrew was promoted to Project Manager and then Estimator. This ascension offered a comprehensive perspective of the construction business from blueprints to finished product and afforded Andrew the opportunity to put his mark on everything from hotels to high-rises, civic centers, schools, medical facilities, retail spaces, libraries and more.
