Veli-Matti Iivonen possesses extensive experience in the maritime and technical fields, currently serving as Technical Manager and previously as Technical Superintendent at ESL Shipping Ltd since January 2004. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Superintendent with the Finnish Coast Guard and Sales Engineer at Wihuri Oy Witraktor. Veli-Matti's engineering background features positions as Service Engineer at MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH and Project Engineer at Wärtsilä Marine Oy. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Logistics from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Management from Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia, and a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from TLH.
