Rich began his ESL career in 2015 as Social Media Manager and held the role of Manager, Corporate Communications and Social Media before being promoted to Vice President in 2022. As Vice President/Director of Corporate Communications, Rich oversees the development, management, and execution of the ESL corporate communications strategy. This includes creating, delivering, and managing content across a mix of traditional and new media channels to support ESL’s reputation and business promotion. Additionally, he serves as the primary contact for media inquiries and as ESL’s corporate spokesperson. Prior to joining ESL, Rich worked in digital marketing for a medical imaging company, and on the public relations team at an integrated marketing agency serving clients in the financial services, IT and telecommunications space.
Rich holds dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Communication from SUNY Geneseo, and a master’s in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He also earned his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America in 2020. Rich currently serves on the board of the Rochester Education Foundation and the Rochester Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, and he previously served on the board of the American Advertising Federation of Greater Rochester.
