Katrina V. has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of emergency management. Katrina has worked as a Deputy Program Manager and Business Continuity Professional at Engineering Solutions, Inc. (ESi), where they managed a team and supported organizational planning for disasters. Katrina also served as an Adjunct Instructor at FEMA - NETC - Emergency Management Institute, teaching courses in emergency management. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Consultant, focusing on special projects and disaster risk reduction. Katrina V. also held positions at Maryland Emergency Management Agency as the Branch Manager for Active Learning & Exercising and at the Office of Emergency Management, Howard County, MD as an Emergency Management Specialist. Katrina has experience as a board member for the Pen Lucy Action Network and co-chair of the Technology Committee at the Baltimore Urban Area Security Initiative. Katrina V. has also worked as a ballet instructor at Johns Hopkins University, volunteered as an instructor at the American Red Cross, and served as a co-instructor at Charles Sturt University.
