Erik Ferner is an experienced software development professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Team Leader of Software Development at ESI Software Germany GmbH since September 2011, Erik has previously held the same position at ICIDO GmbH from October 2007 to August 2011. Erik began their career as a Software Engineer at vrcom GmbH and had an early role as a Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IGD. Initial experience in the field of process control was gained while working as a Developer at Siemens. Erik Ferner holds a Diplom Informatiker (FH) degree in Computer Science from Fachhochschule Darmstadt and an Industrietechnologe degree in Automatisierungstechnik from Berufsfachschule für Automatisierungs-, Daten- und Nachrichtentechnik.
