Robert Durst has a work experience as a Senior Security Engineer and Incident Response at eSentire since October 2022. Robert also worked as a Cyber Investigator at the same company from October 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Police Sergeant at the New York City Police Department from July 2008 to June 2020.

Robert Durst attended St. John's University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Durst obtained several certifications, including becoming a Private Investigator through the New York State Department of State in May 2022. Robert also obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in September 2021, and the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in July 2021.
