John Sheehy has extensive work experience as a Senior Software Engineer. John started their career at Trintech, where they worked on transaction-based financial applications and commissioned solutions for clients in Germany, Sweden, and the United States. John then joined AOL, where they developed a host platform for search-oriented web applications and provided internal support and consultation to users of the search platform. After that, they worked at HR Access Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, providing consultancy to Irish Life for the migration of legacy C++ applications to the Java platform, as well as working on the development of the Internet Banking application with AIB. John then joined FleetMatics, where they worked on high-performance core infrastructural components of the Fleetmatics solution using Microsoft .NET Technology and developed mobile solutions for customers. John then moved to emuse technologies, where they continued their role as a Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at Escher Group as a Senior Software Engineer.

John Sheehy obtained a Master's degree in Computing/Data Analytics from Technological University Dublin. In addition, they have certifications as a java programmer from Oracle, obtained in November 2004, and as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services, obtained in April 2016.
