Sean Butterworth is a highly experienced software engineer with extensive expertise in the gaming industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Escape Velocity Entertainment since October 2022, Sean previously held senior engineering roles at Toys For Bob, Visual Concepts, and Hangar 13, contributing to notable titles including Call of Duty Warzone and WWE 2K20. Prior experience includes positions at Turtle Rock Studios, Red 5 Studios, and Encore, where Sean worked on various games and applications, such as Evolve and IGT Slots series. Sean began the professional journey at Electronic Arts, contributing to popular franchises like The Sims and NBA Street, and has also worked with Radical Entertainment and Crytek on projects like Hulk and FarCry. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Victoria.
