Zhan Ilieski has a diverse work experience across different industries. In 2013, they started their career at CHE Consult GmbH as a Junior Data Analyst, where they worked on multiple research projects related to higher education. Zhan was responsible for data analysis using SPSS and Excel, interpreting and visualizing results, and writing reports.
In 2017, Zhan joined foodora as a Big-Data Analyst Intern in the Global Operations Team. During their time there, they gained experience in analyzing and processing large datasets.
Since 2018, Zhan has been working at esanum as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Zhan'smain tasks include ETL processes, maintaining and improving data quality, and optimizing monthly reporting for clients in the pharmaceutical industry. Zhan also tracks the success of marketing campaigns and develops new tools while coordinating with other departments. Zhan's toolkit includes Alteryx, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
Zhan Ilieski obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Sociology/Politology from Freie Universität Berlin, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Sociology at the same university from 2010 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Zhan obtained a certification from Scrum.org in May 2022 and also completed a course on Managing Big Data with MySQL, receiving a certification from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016.
