Dr. Kim Hermanson is an accomplished educational leader and founder of the MetaphorMind Method & Community, aimed at accessing profound wisdom beyond conventional thinking. Serving as faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute since 2010, Dr. Hermanson conducts programs focused on arts and non-ordinary knowing. As a workshop leader at Esalen Institute, workshops emphasize transformative teaching and the role of creativity in social change. Dr. Hermanson's teaching history includes various undergraduate and graduate institutions, showcasing expertise in creative processes, metaphor, and adult learning, underscored by a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Chicago and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
