Philip Snyder has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Strategy Officer and Director of Field Litigation at Erie Insurance Group since August 2001. In this role, Philip oversees all field-managed litigation, ensuring consistency in processes and quality outcomes, managing over 10,000 pending suits with annual legal expenses totaling $120 million. Prior to this position, Philip was Vice President and Claims Manager at Firemans Fund Insurance Company from 2000 to 2001 and held the title of Claim Manager. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from American University, earned between 1968 and 1971, and also attended East Carolina University from 1962 to 1965.
