Rami Yakoub has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. Their most recent position was as a Software Engineer at Ergeon, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Envanterium as a Software Engineer from September 2019 to December 2021. Rami also has experience as a Volunteer Researcher at VOIS Cyprus, where they participated in a study and conducted surveys regarding international students in North Cyprus. Rami has also volunteered at the NEU Robotics Lab, where they served as a Volunteer Interns Assistant Supervisor, guiding interns and leading a team in reassembling and programming a quad-copter. Additionally, they worked as a Software and Robotic Engineer Intern at the same lab, learning AI basics and designing an autonomous racing car. Rami also interned as a Systems Administrator at NEU Innovation and Information Technologies Center, managing operating systems and networks for the university. Furthermore, they have experience as a Head Basketball Coach at The One Basketball Academy, where they trained youth players, organized leagues, and taught strategic thinking and teamwork skills.

Rami Yakoub obtained a General Secondary Education Certificate, specifically in the Scientific Section, from the Directorate of Education in Damascus Governorate in August 2013. Rami then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering at Near East University (NEU) from 2016 to 2018. Following that, they furthered their education at NEU and completed their Master of Applied Science (MSc) in Information Systems Engineering from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, Rami Yakoub obtained various certifications, including "M101P: MongoDB for Developers" from MongoDB in May 2018, "Programming for the Web with JavaScript" from PennEngineering® in November 2017, and "Intro to JavaScript" from Udacity in October 2017, among others. In September 2018, they also obtained a DescriptionTest of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) certification from ETS.
