Carmen Arelys Mendez has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Carmen Arelys started their career as an Intern at Mendoza Davila Associates in 2001 and worked there for a year. Carmen Arelys then worked independently as an Architect from 2003 to 2017. In 2007, they joined Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira as a Lecturer and Researcher in Urban and Environmental Studies, where they taught and conducted research on city management and public space until 2018. Carmen Arelys also worked as an Architectural Drafter at ezhome from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are the PM Team Manager at Ergeon, starting from May 2018. Additionally, in 2008, they were a Becaria at Fundación Carolina.
Carmen Arelys Mendez obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Carmen Arelys later pursued a Specialist degree in Environmental Impact Assessment from the same university, completing it from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Carmen earned a Master's degree in City Management from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, attending from 2008 to 2011. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "Fluidez de Duolingo en francés: Intermedio (Estimado)" certification from Duolingo in September 2015 and acquired the "International English Language Testing System - 7 (good user)" certification from IELTS Official in September 2014.
