Paul Osborne has had a long and varied career, beginning in 1995 when they joined Power Broadcasting Inc. as Vice-President and General Manager. Paul then moved to the Guelph Storm Hockey Club in 1998 as Director of Business Operations. In 2000, they joined Conestoga College as Associate Vice President Marketing, Community Relations & Special Projects. In 2015, they were promoted to Associate Vice President, Marketing, Enrolment Management & Registrar. In 2019, they joined eResonate Media as Director and The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital as Chair.

Paul Osborne completed a three-year diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology/Technician from Niagara College between 1979 and 1982. Paul then went on to earn a Bachelors in Professional Arts from Athabasca University between 2005 and 2008. Finally, they earned a Master's Degree in Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland between 2011 and 2015.
