Douglas Bernhoft is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in operations engineering and technical support. Currently serving as Supervisor of Operations Engineering and Application Support at ERCOT since July 2022, Douglas held various engineering roles including Senior Engineer and Engineer 3. Prior to ERCOT, Douglas worked at Samsung Austin Semiconductor from November 2017 to July 2022, and at LCRA from January to November 2017 as an Associate Engineer II, providing expertise on transformers, generators, motors, and voltage systems. Douglas also contributed to project management and technical support at Luminant, managing operations of combustion turbines and natural gas steam units, and ensuring compliance with NERC requirements. Douglas earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2015.
