Jan Van Dooren is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the ERC European Resuscitation Council since September 2022, Jan also holds a position as a Board Member at Tennis Vlaanderen and owns Biesbos Management & Consulting. Prior roles include Chief Executive Officer at PORT+ and Senior Advisor to the Board for NxtPort, where notable achievements involved developing a data utility platform. Jan's previous tenure at Safmarine Container Lines included strategic roles such as Chief Process Officer, where Jan led global Lean initiatives, and CIO, managing significant IT outsourcing agreements. Jan holds an MBA in International Affairs from KU Leuven and two Master's degrees in Econometrics and Information Systems from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
