Mark McFaul started their work experience as a Parish Assistant at The Jesmond Trust from September 2011 to August 2013. Mark then worked as a Transport Officer at Somerset County Council from May 2014 to April 2015. After that, they worked as a Student Support Officer at INTO University Partnerships from June 2015 to October 2015. Mark then became an Administration Officer at Public Health England from December 2015 to October 2016. Mark later joined The Artisan Travel Company as a Marketing Assistant in October 2017 and continued in that role until October 2020. Currently, they are working as a Community Marketing Manager at Equiwatt Ltd, starting in November 2020.

Mark McFaul completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies at Newcastle University. Mark then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Media and Public Relations at the same institution, which they completed in the years 2016 to 2017.
