Marcus Paart has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, starting in 2016. Marcus worked as an Underwriter at CorPro Underwriting Managers from July 2016 to October 2017. In 2018, they joined Nasdaq, where they held various roles including Analyst, Associate, and eventually Director responsible for business development and transaction execution in different regions. Marcus joined Gemini in April 2022 as an Institutional Sales professional. Currently, they are the Vice President of Sales & Partnerships at Equity Shift, a company that simplifies deal execution and enforces company rules, investor rights, and securities regulations.

Marcus Paart received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including a Specialization in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) from Duke University in December 2022, a Series 63 certification from FINRA in 2019, a Series 7 certification from FINRA in 2019, and a Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP in 2018.
