Journey Vital is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in leading kitchen operations. Currently serving as the Lead Chef at The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School since May 2021, Journey has previously held roles such as Sous Chef at SAGE Dining Services and Bank Street College of Education, as well as Lead Cook at Genuine Foods. Extensive experience includes preparing daily meals for large groups, developing menus, and creating innovative recipes. Journey also has a strong history of training and directing new staff and ensuring the maintenance of food safety and quality standards. Educational credentials include a Grande Diploma in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from the International Culinary Center, completed in 2015.
