Marcel Hughes is an accomplished mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles within the healthcare and social work sectors. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist and Care Navigator Team Lead at Equitas Health since March 2021, Marcel also contributes as a Psychiatric Social Worker at UC Health since June 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Care Coordinator/Case Manager at Caracole from April 2018 to March 2021, and involvement with Our Daily Bread Cincinnati in 2017 as part of the Kids Club initiative. Additionally, Marcel has experience as a Resident Assistant at Northern Kentucky University, managing a diverse residence hall. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work from Northern Kentucky University, completed in April 2023, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a focus on Women and Gender Studies from the same institution in 2016, following secondary education at Saint Xavier High School in Cincinnati.
