Jose Alberto Muñiz Lerma

Jose Alberto Muñiz Lerma has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Prior to their academic and research roles, Jose worked as an Environmental Consultant at GCC from 2007 to 2012.

Jose Alberto gained experience as a Materials Science Research Assistant at Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez from 2009 to 2011, where they conducted research on the synthesis and characterization of silver sulfide nanotextured structures.

At the beginning of their career, Jose worked as a Quality Lab Technician at Electrolux in 2007 and as a Laboratory Processing Technician at Croni, S.A de C.V. for a brief period.

Jose Alberto Muñiz Lerma completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering at the Instituto Tecnologico de Parral from 2002 to 2006. Jose Alberto then pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science at the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez from 2008 to 2011. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Engineering from McGill University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
