Tíng-Wěi Wú is a senior engineer at Equinor, specializing in marine operations, including survey and seabed intervention, and geotechnics since November 2022. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, focusing on geotechnical testing, and participation in IODP Expedition 386 as a physical properties specialist. Tíng-Wěi's doctoral research at the University of Bremen concentrated on quantitative geotechnical characterization related to submarine landslides. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Natural Sciences from the University of Bremen and multiple degrees in geosciences, marine physics, and earth sciences, complemented by language courses in Norwegian. Extensive research experience includes contributions to international studies and publications within marine geosciences and geotechnics.
