Sigurd Ekkje, an experienced professional in well integrity and completion engineering, currently serves as the Leading Advisor for well integrity CI at Equinor since May 2018. Ekkje has held several positions within Equinor, including Principal Engineer and Lead Engineer, specializing in well planning and operations. Prior to Equinor, Ekkje worked at Statoil from August 2013 to May 2018 in various roles, including Lead Engineer and Senior Completion Engineer, focusing on field development, completion design, and well operations. Ekkje holds a Master of Science in Petroleumsfag from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleumsteknologi from the University of Stavanger.
