Margrethe Snapa is an accomplished professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in commercial operations and gas marketing. Currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Operations Gas at Equinor since May 2018, Margrethe has previously held multiple leadership roles including VP of Upstream and Midstream Optimisation and VP of Natural Gas Origination and Marketing. Prior experience at Statoil, from August 1997 to May 2018, includes positions such as VP of Natural Gas Origination and Marketing, Manager of Long Term Gas Sales Contracts, and Head of Supply Planning and Capacity Booking. Margrethe's educational background includes a Siviløkonom degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), completed in 1997.
