Jonathan Dolan CEng MIMechE is an experienced Principal Engineer at Equinor since January 2018, with a robust background in mechanical engineering and project management within the Oil & Gas industry. Previously, as Managing Director at JMech Engineering Ltd from October 2008 to October 2019, Jonathan led mechanical engineering efforts and consulted for major companies such as Total E&P UK Ltd and Repsol Sinopec. Jonathan's expertise includes subsea engineering, product design, refurbishment projects, and proactive support for offshore activities. Earlier roles include Senior Project Engineer at GE Oil & Gas, where responsibilities encompassed engineering coordination and customer liaison, and various engineering positions with Cameron and I.D.E.A.S. Ltd focused on project execution and client communication. Jonathan holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University.
