Bernt Swendgaard is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in piping design and support. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Equinor since July 2022, Swendgaard previously held the position of Senior Piping Designer at Aker Solutions from May 2017 to July 2022. Prior to that, Swendgaard was the Head of the Piping Design group at REINERTSEN AS for nearly two decades, focusing on pipe support design, piping design, 3D CAD, fabrication, and installation. Additional experience includes roles in maritime sensor construction at Autronica Fire & Security AS and pipe support design at Aker Engineering AS. Swendgaard holds a BSc in Mechanics from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST), completed in 1991.
