Zach Matuszak currently serves as the Manager of Controls Engineering at Equinix, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Zach was with Universal Instruments Corporation from July 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team of 17 in product development, developing technical roadmaps, designing AI solutions, and owning the product development strategy. Before that, at GE Aviation (August 2018 - July 2020), Zach functioned as a Lead Systems Engineer, focusing on product development for FAA certification and system requirements for satellite communications in commercial aircraft. Earlier roles at Universal Instruments included Applications Engineer and Systems Engineer, contributing to sales support and the development of robotic process control solutions. Zach holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Ithaca College and a Mechanics Certification in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
