Claire Young is a seasoned engineer currently serving as a Senior Engineer at EQUILIBRIUM since September 2024 and as a Sustainability Panel Member at The Institution of Structural Engineers since January 2023. Previously, Claire held various positions at Civic Engineers from September 2016 to September 2024, including Associate and Sustainability Lead, where responsibilities involved driving sustainable and regenerative practices in engineering. Claire's career began shortly after graduating with a Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Southampton in 2016, with early experiences including roles as an Undergraduate Engineer at WSP in the UK and also as a Student Ambassador at the University of Southampton.
