Emma Thompson has a diverse work experience in various marketing and communications roles. From 2017 onwards, they served as the Global Director of Marketing and Communications at Equality Now, where they were responsible for advocating for gender equality through communication strategies. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2017, Emma worked at RSBC (Royal Society for Blind Children), first as the Head of Marketing and later as the Marketing Director. Emma'srole involved implementing creative marketing campaigns and supporting corporate initiatives. Emma also has experience working with the Labour Party as a Marketing Communications Manager and Direct Marketing Officer, where they focused on membership acquisition and fundraising activities. Additionally, they worked as a Marketing Executive at Cancer Research UK, leading projects on legacy fundraising. Earlier in their career, Emma started as a Junior Account Executive at HOB Design, where they assisted with account management and client acquisition.
Emma Thompson attended the University of Plymouth from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a BSc degree in Politics with a focus on Political Communication.
