Matthew Adams is Equality California's Regional Field Organizer for Sacramento, striving to recruit volunteers and organize around various events, actions, and campaigns in the region. Prior to joining Equality California, Matthew worked with candidates, elected officials, and non-profits in the Sacramento area, with his primary focus being on volunteer management and outreach. He also has worked in the education field, dabbling as both an educator and an education assistant. Matthew holds a B.A. in Government from Sacramento State and enjoys performing improvisational comedy, which he did professionally in a past life.
